blow your rent on this

I get that the whole "distressed" thing is a trend and all but $1,595 seems a tad steep for the Mulberry Metallic Milton Tote, which looked as if it has been dragged through the Mojave Desert and then blowtorched a teensy bit. Then again there are those who get their manicures done chipped and distressed on purpose to imitate Amy Winehouse, so go figure. I think this is a passive way to encourage the general people to buy vintage, yeah?

I saw that in the Mulberry window on Saturday and had to do a double take. It seems like a huge waste of money and I really can't imagine anyone wanting to buy it. Especially since people could probably get a cheap vintage bag themselves and make it all distressed themselves.

this looks like a cheap plastic bag from the 90s that was run over by a car. a hooker would carry this.
too much

I hate seeing things like these, like jeans that cost more just because they have rips you could make yourself in them.
Sorry to admit I find the bag quite endearing...it's just swell.

I like Mulberry, but this bag just looks cheap--I feel like people not in the "know" would wonder why you have such a nice outfit on and such a terrible bag with it! And they'd be right...

So this is the new trend? I wonder if I'll see this at our schoool? haha yeah right.

so not my idea of fashion. the bag itself is nice, if it were in black without the whole distressed part, that is.

OK I think by Distressed they meant just kinda worn looking leather, not something that looks like a dog has been sleeping on it for fifteen years!
BLERGH ugly ugly bag.
