Versace Hair

One of the things I've wanted forever: Versace hair. It's all about the lush, flowy, italian sex machine look that I spent way too much time striving for. Sadly my attempts are futile, no matter how many darned 3-inch Conair rollers I stick in my head, I just end up with a bad case of frizz and shizz. I remember as a dim-witted adolescent, I listened to Seventeen magazine and used a toilet paper roll and foil as DIY rollers, and I just looked a fool. Clearly, the depths of desperation is Seventeen magazine hair advice. My only solution is incessantly flipping my head up and down, like a maniacal narcissist. So, reader, what are your hair issues, if any?

I can't do this^

My hair is just TOO curly - I can straighten it, but it's hard to make it wavy and in-between because it's so thick.

my hair usually does what I want it to do - for the first 5 minutes....

When I had long hair, I learnt a trick to get my hair like that.

Step 1: Dry -not completely- your hair with your head down.

Step 2: With the hair slightly humid, make a braid using three strands. Stay with it for 4/8minutes.

Step 3: Undo the braid and use the hairdryer once again with your head down.

Finally, divide your hair in two and twisted it back.

I can never do anything like that with my hair :(, I know how you feel. Doing my hair always makes me feel like a fool. Even though I am already a fool, I just feel like a bigger fool :P

Damnnn it's good.

This is why I should really befriend a hair stylist. I need my own James Brown, but cooler, y'all.

My one hair dilemna which I know can never be solved...flyaway fringes!
Nothing can be done.

That hair is gorgeous and so harddddd to get. Such gorgeous and classic waves, they should create some kind of hairspary that'll just automatically WOMP! give you perfect Versace hair.

my problem isn't with my hair, but with my wish to find the perfect cut for me. you see people who get a new style and you think, oh wow, look at that, that's great. i would just like to fulfill whatever my potential is in that category, you know, i would just like a definitive "this looks best" style. is it long, short, what?

I have boring long hair. I always wear it in a ponytail. Also it's not that strong and quite frizzy :S.

Great solution for it all will be a good fringe!

So I actually had a friend tell me last night (at the START of the Cowboys/Packers game) that my hair looked fantastic. I promptly let her know that, after approx 10 hours at work, I threw it all up in haphazard Velcro curlers while I made food for the peeps coming by, and took them out about six seconds before she arrived.

By halftime, she literally asked me if I was planning on putting said rollers back in for a few.

So, problem would be: seriously fine, between-ear-and-shoulder-length, easily stylable hair that can't hold out for more than an hour. Looks fantastic at 7 AM, looks droopy by 9. Which is why I typically employ the low-ponytail clip to keep it mildly attractive, although incredibly BORING.

Help??????

I'd just be happy not to have Don King's hair when I wake up in the morning.

Mad frizz, mad frizz, and the fact of its being this horrible shaggy black mess that flies everywhere. I've learned to be proud of it, but it didn't come easy...and my hairline is wonky on one side, so once I realised it the fringe was absolutely necessary. It really wasn't fashion at all!

Versace hair....and Makeup!!! Is everything a girl could die for.

The girls always look so strong- and-powerful-and-sexy-and-slutty- BUT-hey-I'm-not-promiscuous , I love that.

Blowouts work wonders, but they only last until the next wash so thats 50 dollars down the drain.

Yeah, I had longer hair and I found myself doing the flip a lot...and my futile attempts toward Versace hair finally motivated me to just cut it all off... now it looks better with less volume!

But the Versace hair is great, I really love it, especially in combination with the dramatic eyes.

It's funny because I have never really liked most of Versace's clothing or accessories, but I was always atonished by the gorgeous hair the models had on the runway.
