Intensity, profile, and ridiculous faux-gasping, by Catherine McNeil. Maybe she's trying to dissuade the critics that she does have variation in the face! These photos were taken for V Magazine's Model Diaries, McNeil blogs a day in her life, shooting in LA with Mario Testino. For serious, these photos really are the epitome of Myspace; for example, the "surprise!" look (above),
the I-just-came-out-of-the-shower-nonchalantly-and-look-gorgeous-without-makeup-so-there-bitch shot
and finally, the priceless mirror shot, complete with the flash on. I really spend too much time on Myspace, bluuaggh.

Oh dear, I really don't think Ms McNeil has that natural model look judging by these snaps.
She looks rather unnatural and try hard.
Shame, I love those Hugo Boss aderts with her, but perhaps they are the product of much airbrushing (at least more than usual) and lots of off shot direction!
I feel a little dirty, like we all cyber bully Catherine McNeil.
Almost everyone is taking doing that MySpace inspired photo collaging or whatever you wanna call it...
just because catherine mcneil takes awkward, self-indulgent myspace pictures doesn't mean she's not awesome in print and on the runway.
props to her for putting non-airbrushed, makeup-less photos on the internet -- i think she's beautiful.
Haha is it just me or are you obsessed with her?? :)
Well I still think she looks good...sometimes
Perhaps Catherine's look is a bit too esoteric for DC.
The main appeal of Catherine McNeil- besides her pillow lips and tongue ring- is that she has no apparent facial deformities.
We've been conditioned to like weirdos for so long that nobody knows what's beautiful anymore... it's sad, really.
I quite like these pictures its nice to see a model with some facial expression and not looking dead
and I agree I can't imagine Carrie and Big getting married really
Trouble is, her 'shower' face is exactly the same as her 'intense' face..still very beautiful, though- maybe she just needs a photographer who'll direct her better?
I do agree with Stevie though, it feels strange to be talking this way about a teenage girl- particularly a model.
Haha cute. I loved her at first but she gets a little boring. Some of her Polaroids are amazing though.
