Prada, Prada Everywhere

While reading the style bubble post on turban outbreaks, I checked out Prada.com, but instead of seeing a vacant, random advert of Sasha P. there was this refreshing PDF featuring looks from the spring 07' colleccion.
Not the typical style.com runways pics, Miuccia definitely got carried away by the lovely thing called photoshop, and filtered the otherwise plain photograph into silkscreens, and cropped models into exotique locales around the world. Bellissimo, no?

wow, I love these pictures, it puts a completely fresh spin on things, and is very different from the typical "rich" style of prada with the decadent colours. I like this, its very natural.

I think turbans are pretty but I don't think i'd ever wear one myself, a little much. :)

If you want to see Karl in his fat days, watch the film Prêt-à-Porter.

I love what Miuccia did with the website, very original.

At one time, 90% of my respect for designers rested in Miuccia's lap. But the facts are she stole these ideas from a 1979 Vogue spread by Sarah Moon. I guess it's pretty either way though so... whatever.

Even more so th en the balenciaga hat I think this is ridiculous and I hope I don't see people trying to wear this all over NYC.
I saw a pic recently of some rockabilly girl wearing it and it looked amazing on her, however she was definitely an exception to the rule.

wow, these are so cool. Made me in the mood to be creative, get the camera, open photoshop and get me my own ones (with me in it). Too bad I do not have a turban, my camera's at a friends and photoshop is gone (me and my computer are going through a rough time..)
great post though!

man I can't use photoshop to save my life. I once tried to make a calander using photoshop for an IT project but I couldn't even do that. but the pictures are still gorgeous

I think it was Dazed and Confused that did an interesting take on the turban, in realy soft, almost tie-dye jersey fabrics. They actually looked pretty good for what they were...turbans.
