i liked lohan's ad better

I take a two month hiatus from blogging (college applications are murderous) and I come back to see Dawson's Creek girl burning her hands in the holy name of Miu Miu. I'm so glad to be back.

  1. Oh, aren't they? Her hand is burning, but on the 50000000th applications, your eyes burn!

  2. Dawson's creek girl...haha. I bet it was so awkward for the photographer to shoot this.

  3. I was hoping to see promised new fresh faces in this campaign and it turned out to be just Katie by herself :(

  4. I would have to agree. Katie's ad is a little boring, while Lindsey's was much more interesting to look at.

    But the fire is pretty.

  14. I thought the same when I saw this: I liked Lohan's ad much more. Mainly because she didn't look like Lohan at all, actually.

  16. Yes, I did too. Is she burning her hand or what? It looks weird. But It's nice to see that some celebs can model because the celebs US Vogue uses can't do much. I love your header too, from Vogue Paris right? I love Vogue Paris.

  23. This is so boring. Lohan's was better. Kirsten Dunst's was the best!!! I loved that one with the red bow and the mirror!

  24. yeah, i'm not a big fan of the ads either. she's not a model, she's not really a huge fashion figure, she's not that great of an actress. she's just the average girl-next-door who stumbled into a marriage with her actor crush. i don't know why miu miu chose her.

that's kind of harsh. haha oh well.

  28. I think Katie Holmes will always remain Joey Potter from Dawson's Creek. Every other thing she does seems off to me...

  29. yea i didnt love this ad either, katie looks so stiff, it just looks uncomfortable.

  30. I wonder why they shot the pictures in hell, of all places:P Sigh. Katie is adorable, but i don't think she's a Miu Miu kinda girl...

  31. Can Miu Miu just use models instead of actresses? They're campaigns are going downhill quickly. Great blog though.
    Do you do link exchanges?

  36. Haven´t Katie Holmes done an editorial like that for Miu Miu? I can be mistaken, but I do recall she would have done at least a pretty similar one.

  37. Hahahah this is very amusing. And I agree! The dress looks stuning. The rest is ridiculous.
