Sad - Polaroid is shutting down its instant film factories due to the overwhelming demand for digital cameras and the like. They already ceased production on instant cameras, and will only make enough film to last through this year. This really blows for the fashion industry, who rely on polaroids for instant unphotoshopped model shots, fashion show looks, makeup shots, and so on. A photographer friend of mine told me about this the other day and i almost cry... this is sad indeed, and i totally wonder the same as you: what will it happen with the fashion industry that relies in polaroids so much??
