dragon eyes

"La fille du Dragon," ("the girl of the dragon," in english) from Numéro 90 February 2008 shot by Sofia Sanchez & Mauro Mongiello avec model Marina Perez. The makeup is intense; winged yellow highlighter eyeliner, ooers. Finally, a Spring editorial minus all the prints vomited upon it. (see previous post.)

I love the parasol, though the shock-bright colours always take a bit of getting used to...

Very interesting, I like the dragon in the hair and the violins.

Very topical editorial (Chinese New Yearr), I'm a fan.

And what is with all the photographer duos these days? I'd be curious to see how they work together.

I love the shocking make-up hues and sharp yet soft styling!
It's cool to see that striped Miu Miu pant suit in an ed., one of my fav pieces from that show.
esp love the saffron yellow in the Balenciaga dress!

It's really translated "Dragon Lady". I wonder what the effect would've been if they used an Asian model, but I think Marina looks just fine.

I love how all the pieces were styled with an Asian twist, even if that didn't seem to be their original intention. The makeup is awesome too..
